What these religious lleaders doing????
by Rangasamy Vijay on Jul 04, 2007 07:53 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The hindu religious leaders must come out open with their concern or endorsement of this project. No use sitting and chanting mantras when millions of hindus are offended openly by one atheist having a last laugh. Thier knowledge and proclaimed closeness to divinity must work now or never... No politics when it comes to heritage, beliefs and religious sentiments...

Hindu Munnani leader Rama Gopalan, Sankaracharya of North (not Kanchi) and others are taking action on this.

Subramaniam Swami filed a petition in Madras High Court. Judge asked the Center to find if there are other possible ways to carry on with the project without destroying Ramar Bridge. Next hearing is on Jul 23.
