What is our PM doing? Is he not responsible for protecting a national monument. Whether it is scientifically proved that it wass old is a different issue. but, when crores of people are believing that it is sacred and belonging to Ramayana age, is the PM not responsible for protecting it. Is the same degree of neglegence showed, if it is a sacred place for minority in india? Why is the congress party not respecting the feelings of peopleof india?

PMO office has indeed advised the Shipping Ministry not to touch the Adams Bridge. But, our central govt is run by DMK - Karunanidhi and TR Baalu. They are atheist. They dont believe in Rama. how do you expect them to believe in Ramar Bridge.
How do you expect our PM to oppose DMK. He will loose his seat.

Even though I dont like Congress, I feel that destruction of Ramar Bridge is only because of DMK. I feel that if our PM is able to act by himself, he would have saved the Ramar Bridge.

ADAM BRIDGE is asked by Indian navy to transport navy vessels in Indian waters from east to west and viceversa. ie without entering international waters or srilankan waters as srilanka cannot be trusted in longer term

Those who are opposing to Sethusamudram are only opposing to the current channel of the canal which cuts the Adams Bridge. There are 6 channels suggested by A. Ramasamy Mudaliar committee. 5 of the suggested channels do not cut the Adams Bridge. But, this govt has chosen the channel which cuts the Adams Bridge.
No one will oppose SethuSamudram project if it doesnt damage Adams Bridge
