I ask how, boys! This is not a bridge being constructed. A canal that will cut right through the sethu artifacts. This cannot be constructed without demolishing the shallow floor.
To HariNarayana Ramar Bridge is between Rameshwaram (TN) and Thalai Mannar (Lanka). There were 6 channels suggested by A.Ramasamy mudaliar committee. Only one channels cuts the Ramar Bridge, where as other 5 goes between end of Mandapam and Rameshwaram (i.e. under the Pamban bridge). Even the A.Ramasamy Mudaliar committe favoured 5 channels going under Pamban bridge rather than cutting Ramar Bridge. So, a channel can be constructed without destroying Ramar Bridge. Infact this is a win-win channel. But due to some reasons (only to affect Hindu sentiments) our DMK leaders are adament on the channel which cuts Ramar Bridge.

THis guy is a sri lankan tamil. The LTTE are working to destroy India, and part of their strategy is to evoke the fictitious 'tamil dravida' identity. These guys are facing increasing problems in Europe, because of their terrorist activities, and are no longer able to get into European counties, so they are trying to expand their base in Tamil Nadu. These guys MUST be kicked out of the country, back to the war zone where they belong.
One sri lankan tamil in Europe once told me, he is fed up with these LTTE violence and terrorism, and their anti-india, anti-hinduism, stance. He just wants peace, to live his life normally, and allow his children to grow normally in harmony and love. Unfortunately, the LTTE will not allow their community to live in peace with others, but are forcing their own community members (sri lankan tamils) to engage in violence and fight against India. It is pathetic. This 'tamil magan' character is a typical LTTE tamil character, whose intent is to destroy india in the pretext of tamil solidarity.
