PAK GETS ITS OWN DOSE !!
by Hooter on Jul 04, 2007 10:28 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Apropos Rehan's post below ...

Nobody is interested in what goes inside a Mosque or any other place of worship (if its normal).

What Rehan has said indicates that he does not observe this news as an outsider (like any normal Indian would do) but rather seese himself being blamed for it. Problem is, seamless integration of all muslim problems as one whether it happens in Pakistan or UK or Iraq; My question is how relevant this news is to Indians or Indian Muslims ?

This is purely the problem of Pakistan. Its suffering becoz of its own dose of medicine. Jihadis manufactured out of that country used to carry out attacks in neighbouring India or Afganistan till now. But somewhere that has backfired Pakistan.

Now they are at wrong end of the barrel.

Rehan, we all need to distinguish something here. Islam can not be bashed for something wrong in some foreign country. Same way, Muslims can't protest against something happening in some other foreign country.

Yes, we should do it if its affecting Indians. As Indians, we should protest against Australian Govt if Dr. Haneef is held & released without any charges. But leave that to the govt to lodge a protest.

Say the same things in the Delhi mosque, when they protest against Israel, against t he Denmark for the cartoons, don't be a hypocrite.

I shall surely recommend you to my neighbourhood mu(lalah), to invite you for the friday sermons
