In recent past Supreme Court has given far reaching judgements. They have given hope to this nation which otherwise has gone to dogs (read politicians). But this is wrong on its part to simply dismiss the PIL against Patil. How can Supreme court do this. At least they should have asked for any enquiry to acertain if the alligations were true. Since these are for the post of President, SC should have punished those who put these alligations if found wrong or should have rejected Patil's candidature. SC you have betrayed the hopes of the nation.

SC guided the petitioner to go the appropriate authority with the petition, it means something is therein.
