what basis?
by Jus on Jul 03, 2007 11:57 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

I wonder on what basis was this doctor arrested? On the basis that he had a muslim name & he was travelling on a one-way ticket to india? The policy is, i guess, randomly pick an asian-muslim, take him on remand, torture him, destroy his career & life. How many out of the 'suspect' arrested have been found guilty?

And Asian targets are the easiest picking for US/ UK/ Australian authorities because our government won't even take up the case or even give 2 hoots about it.

WHen was the last time an Emirati, Bahraini or Saudi doctor got arrested on "terror suspicion."

Buying a 1 way ticket makes you a TERROR SUSPECT?! Maybe the guy just got fed up of Western life and wanted to return to India?
