BOMBAY-KOLKATA TRAINS RUNNING LATE
by Rajesh Vyas on Jul 02, 2007 04:48 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Sir:
The late running of trains has nothing to do with the rains. Late running by 6 to 8 hours is a regular feature of all trains traversing through Bihar and Eastern U P everyday.

Laloo has got carried away by all the attention he gets for the alleged profits made by the railways. In my opinion, (AND I SINCERELY HOPE I AM WRONG), the railway profit figures are all cooked up and a massive con job on the people of India. Unlike in the Private Sector, there is no timely and honest audit and with the Chara Chor around, it is too much to expect honesty in these figures of profit by the Railways.

Dont tell this to me.

All Govt accounts are properly audited & on top of that by CAG.

So its all genuine.

I may not like Lallu but he has just given some right directions. He just pulled few strings which resulted in increased revenue income
