Look at this way, the Bristish won the Battle of Plassey by deafeating the Mogul Nawab in 1757. Marathas captured the rest of the India by defeating the Moguls and were at the height of their expanding power in 1760, untill they met Panipat !!! The point is, why is the wrong history being taught and very proudly supported, that BATTLE of PLASEY was the most important Battle, infact it was a battle PURCHASED by MARWARI Business Men, because Siraj had a great taste for women !! please understand there was no religious hatred, thats why even the Chief of Army of Siraj suppored the British !! (read the history in British Archives).
This woman officer never got the support of the Mechanism by her superiors, may be she might have had pressing demands at home and at office (army), she just couldnt disobey because in Army u get court-martialed for that...so whats the option she has, given the fact that she is that WOMAN from INDIA, who gives her EVERYTHING to her FATHER/ HUSBAND !!
So every one will forget this tomorrow, the true picture will never come untill some one else does a sucide and we will be taught a wrong history and the right people will suffer !!!
So far so good, "FUNTIONING ANARCHY", thats what the west calls India !!!

your comparision is realy excellent. i think it became a tradition in army to blame leave pattern in case of such disasters.

sanjeev, when i say "support mechanism by superiors", it does not mean LEAVE PATTERN, it means COMMUNICATION between people. SUCIDE is the LARGER KILLER than the TERRORISTS themselves, so dont you think its time to retrospect, rather than wait for another PLASSEY !!!
