Correctty said. Democracy does not come by holding elections. We from India should be proud because we have the second largest muslim popluation in the world but we are having very little terrorist problems because religion.(Kashmir is again a age old problem from independence and not much attributed because of the recent Terriorist principles). We were able to achieve this because we gave equal opportunities to grow and involve people in all levels. Inspite of the partition Of India based on religious norms and several other communal riots taking place after then it is because of the intelorance and identifying/seggregating the bad elements and not comparing the larger religion group with those antisocial elements helped us grow. Democracy means giving options for all citizn's to grow .But again we could have been a developed country now had our politicians have adopted democracy within their political parties and led parties in a more professional way.

Do you live in India? Becuase, terrorists are killing people everywhere and almost regularly in India. May not be in large scale as in some other Country. But if our spineless "Democracy" continues in this fashion, a few years down the line, we'll beat Iraq or any other African country in a heart beat.
