Americans think democracy is like giving a lollipop

Whatever be the present state of affairs is in Iraq, America sacrificed 3000 of its sons and daughters in Iraq. That is no lollipop Mr. Seshan, let alone the billions of dollars being spent there.

3000 is less than the 6,50,000 Iraqi civilians murdered after US invasion and also less than 5 million Iraqi children died due to lack of medicines during American sanctions. And billions of dollars spent for this attack is an investment by the American government to take control of the Iraqi oil fields.
