We are far away from becoming a super power either way.I would rather prefer to live in a country where the leadership is concerned about the people & the miserable life style that they live. I would rather be content with good infrastructure, clean administration, leadership ensuring that the benefits of progress goes to the downtrodden, the underprivileged, do justice to people , punish the corrupt specially the powerful who use the power to halt the peoples progress. All said & done, I will be happier with a country which takes care of the basic needs of the people i.e. housing, food, clothes, job, education,& such other basic needs rather then a superpower having superior weopons of mass destruction.

Being a superpower would be meaningless if there wouldn be social fraternity amongst people. People being deprived of their basic nessesities, how would that be called as a superpower when a selected few are enjoying all the preveleges and a major chunk of people still being ill-treated, being given inhuman treatment. Nothing would be change except for richer people being more rich and poor people being more poor.
