Ravi----ur concerns about INDIA having a heart
by on Jan 22, 2007 04:21 PM   Permalink

u have said that u have been following india's growth--well thn u must b aware of the fact that in 1990's India cud 'shine' in ur terms....whn it changed its foeign policy....it accepted the way of being a new capiatlist state...though partially. it competed wth the superpowers to have an economic independence.....after opening its frontiers 4 finance dependence.

As far as being humane goes.....u sould be well aware that people here r not asking about the ages of their servants....but helping to save them of the torture (physical and mental),of being not able to have a bread for themselves. people here have started enrolling their servants in educational boards.they have started lending them books of their children. The youth have brought a bulge in the NGO sector too.

India learnt to be plitical harder way on its way up -from the question of "if it can be a super power" to "when it will be". That was a need to survive and stride through the other politiacl powers. Beyond having just a thought.....it had to deal with the situationsjust like u did......when u went from here to have a great destiny in Canada.......do u have a heart to comeback and face realities back home?
