God! why should India needs 40 years olds outdated ship?. Is indian Navy that outdated?

the ship may be old but it is still in a class that we haven't had. it represents a quantum jump for our navy in terms of capability. all three of our aircraft carriers have been similar used ships. that does not mean they were not useful. once we begin operating that class of ship maybe we would go on to build our own or buy some more contemporary ones. that is a done thing.
