In fact,he deserves it. It is proven that anyone irrespective of their caste or religion can come to the top in our motherland. It is painful to see that people are first counting the caste, religion etc. etc. before going into their personal merits they achieved throughout their life. For example, even when Mr.K.R.Narayanan or Dr. Abdul Kalam became presidents of India, the same type of narrow minded persons could feel a dalit becoming president or a muslim becoming president. First of all they are all Indians. I don't know after achieving independence before so many decades, why people could not become real Indians.Even certain political parties express their political wisdom in such cases only with an eye on the vote Banks.It is shameful..
