Bad management
by raja208 on Jan 09, 2007 04:31 PM   Permalink

I am an employee of one of the better airlines. Government's responsibility has not been fullfilled at all as its responsibility for education, infrastructure, policing, etc etc etc. Airlines are not given enough space to operate their passenger and cargo functions. Airlines are given permission to fly and then they start looking where to give them counters for check-in.

Of course I believe in free skies policy but should govenrment allow anyone and everyone to fly.Can anyone afford to fly even one passenger at 6 rupees or one rupee plus taxes on a flight? when even the platform ticket in the railways costs 3 . These so called levellers- those who call themselves airlines who want to give a chance for anybody and everybody to fly -- are going public and getting public money to finance their operations after a certain years. All over the world, airlines are getting closed down due competition and one of the reasons is the cost of the ticket is coming down.

This reflects in conditions mentioned here in the article. Go to any airline cargo offices in DEL,BOM,CCU , MAA and BLR and see the space they have( all spce mostlty got by them by their own without any help
