Strange how a PART can be bigger than its whole.
have you ever seen, Seed in apple is bigger than apple, I have not seen.
SAD is part of NDA not BJP, Correct it.
Why NDA couldnot come in power in last parliament election, because BJP was loosing its share in NDA, now its loosing further, IN Punjab its AkaliDal growing more, IN Mharasthta Municipal, its ShiveSena grown more.
Get ready for a total lost of BJP in few years, and some other party leader will be NDA leader.

SAD is part of NDA...even in Delhi SAD and BJP fight together in elections. No big news...but the point to be noted is NDA is winning across the state and it is a known fact that NDA is headed by BJP...it is the same equation, where a national party plays a second fiddle to regional party, other examples being DMK playing big brother to Congress in TN, under the banner of UPA and RJD/JMM being superior to congress in Bihar/Jharkhand...but when they win the elections, in central politics it is always Congress V/S BJP....all regional parties SAD,DMK,AIADMK,SS etc are always relegated to supporting role in Delhi....and I Thank God for this !!!

SAD won so many seats because BJP chose not to contest on those seats. If it did, SAD would not have gotten the BJP votes and won so many seats.

It is not about trying to win. I never said they were confident of winning. If they chose not to contest so that a party with similar ideology wins.

BJP has contested in less seats as well. If you can calculate then take this aspect into consideration as well. BJP fought elections as SAD ally not SAD faught as BJP's ally. Whats wrong in it and for your information check the results you would see BJP's victory % in Punjab is more then 50% i.e it is winning in 50% seats which they faught

that's because congress relies on minorities and certain caste people by deviding the country and making them feel insecure. So the minorities and caste people unitedly vote for congress. The rest of the votes get devided in many different parties. Congress has not won many seats with 50% votes. In true democracy, you have to get 50% votes to win a seat. But congress benefis by not having to get 50% votes and deviding the population. So get some knowledge about democracy and how indian elections are not truly democratic.
