I agree with some of the views already posted. I think Mr. Arjun Singh will be glad to help out ISRO by getting in some reservation policy. ISRO can then get more students than they require. Quality has never been a criterion for the Indian Government.So why bother about it here.

Bring in the brightest ONLY no quota at all. This is cutting edge stuff not for the quota crowed please..there are other things they may play at, just not here.

Sure, another GoI institution, with 27 13 etc.etc quota of reserved category, you will not get rocket scientists but UFO designers. See the royal mess all central aided universities, labs have become and you will get the point. Of course ther will be rejoinder from social justice lobby and historically deprived of te land.
