oh! she is not a model or a filmstar, will the media really work up a frenzy like it did when "injustice" was meted out to Jessica Lall? Will anyone give this incident any thought a day after this report moves off the rediff main page? Will the Times Nows, NDTVs, CNN-IBNs cry hoarse and sponsor candle light vigils for justice for this 16 year old? I dont think so... So why this pretense of caring for the underdog?

I completely agree with you.Captalizing on celebrity news is the only thing that the media knows very well say highlighting the rubbish news like marriages between any bollywood personalities who are junk to the hard core society and it needs the news that will easily be carried to the public.I flays the media role in such issues.
