this is a shameful thing, someone raped a girl & even they threatened to repeat the incident with her younger sister. What is the duty of indian police now. just shoot the rapist at site he & his familiy is not a capable to say a human being. i just want say the girl don't end your life. fight the circumstances as much you possible. but dont be a disapoint.

Do u think death can be the justice to him, its just a 3 minute pain to him, but the girl and his family are ashamed of the incident. Some brutal judgement as he should be living in the world but as a living dead.

Dear Balamurugan,
I believe that he should be put in to Solitary confinement may be of size 2X2 SQft. With No light and given best food so that he lives and lives the longest life may be for 50-60 more years.
The Only thing he misses is Light and Human being.
May be we have some bugs who can feed on him till he lives.
That shud be the ideal punishment for such criminals.

dont talk about the indian police and indian army. they are too busy in collecting awards and prize money earned in fake encounters but killing innocent people in the name of terrorists.
I second your opinion and I really feel that this issue should be taken over by Rediff and other new network on TV, Newspaper and Internet in the same way Jessica lal issue was highlighted. so that poor girl finds some solace and feels that there is big support behind her.
This will force Nitishji to take some strict action on the culprit and this girl will have some Confidence.
Let us appeal every reader of Rediff news who goes thru comment to show their support and also I would like Rediff to take up this issue in a big way so that these culprits realise that the Individuals in India are not vulnerable to these highhanded attitude and that they can not get away doing anything.
Lets prove to the world and these culprits that all Indians are one and they stand next to their brother and sisters if something unjust is done to them.

Dear REDIFF, As one of the other CITIZEN of India pointed out, take this chance to escalate this issue further. We people believe that Media is one of a powerful tool to bring up an issue. Hats off to the media. Though the justice will be given by the court, the media can surely bring up the emotions of these people highlighted. Award him with the most vulnerable punishment (except capital punishment... as one of the reader had mentioned, if he was given capital punishment, the pain rails for less than 3 mins)..
Girl (or I would say my sis).. Dont give your life for this most stupidous act and the problems you face right now).. Still the world is good enough with GOOD people who can surely help you ... You are born to live kid..
