Sorry buddy Please read Indian history because india was never peaceful even before 800 A.D.
Hindus fought amongst themselves, the kings of that time are known to have aligned themselves with outsiders - first around 323 B.C. Alexander the great was helped by a hindu king to fight King Porus and right upto muslim invasion it has continued. Even today it's the same story - around 3 lac plus Kashmiri hindus have been kicked out of kashmir by muslims but none of the hindus are there to help them cos it's not their other hindus problem.
