22 Muslims and 27 Hindus!!. Is that what boils down to? Is it to mean that each life has a different value based on religion? Rediff should do better analysis of articles before posting them online.

While all the victims are pakistani citizens, the auther mr Bramn is only reacting to the marianna Baabar, a well known journalist giving the split up as muslims as pakistanis and hindus as indians and pakistani governments insensitivity to its hindu citizens. Also i fully agree to your centiments that human life is precious and i am sure Mr B Raman will agree too.

Yes, each life has a different value based on religion and gender.....in some countries in Middle-East....FYI Check on WIKIPEDIA - Blood money....
And also according to our sickular Govt. Check the compensation money declared for terrorists attacks in which Hindus were killed and in those where muslims were killed....

Really? In a train that is traveling to a Muslim country how come the majority who are dead can be Hindus? Statistically how possible it is? See the logic not the words.
