I am a Indian tamil from sri lanka whose parents were brought back during Shastry's time. I still have relatives in Sri Lanka and they are always targeted for being Tamil. In India, i have all the freedom to what i want and to become whatever I want. I know most of you don't like us Tamils from Sri Lanka but we are still grateful for allowing some of our brethrens to live in this country as refugees. Are these people crossing over to Pakistan so stupid, that they cannot see the opportunities in India?

Sri-Lanka belongs to Talims and India .
Why are you worried it is only matter of time when India will take over Sri-Lanka..... For that matter Burma,Nepal,Bhutan. It is only matter of time my dear............

Rani, please remember that ALL Tamils were at one time or another Indians only. Indian Tamils do not hate the so-called Sri Lankan Tamils. As a Tamil myself, my heart bleeds for the suffering of Tamils in SL. So do the hearts of crores of other Tamils in India. What we dislike is not the SL Tamils but the LTTE because, it is clearly a fascist and dictatorial party. One should look at the number of Tamil leaders that LTTE as assassinated to realize that its only goal is to lord over Tamils in SL like kings. In their fight, they kill every one, even if he is a Tamil if he comes in the way of their fascist ambitions. And so, hate SL Tamils No, hate LTTE definitely yes.

thank you for your reply and explanation. Why is it that you "hate" the facist ambitions of LTTE but not of the SL Government. SL Government doesnot want to have a plural society. LTTE is a reaction. This is something I have never understood about the hatred. Besides, because of this hatred, lots of Tamils are suffering at the hands of the SL Government. Everyday, there is a disappearance. Even last month, one of my mother's distance friend's grandson disappeared in High security zone of the army so we know it is the army who did this. He is not even Jaffna Tamil. My heart still bleeds for those people there, not because they are Tamil but because they are human who are continuously killed by their government

Ok, right Rani. I under stand your views. But LTTE is not the solution to SL Tamil problems. Terrorism is not a solution it is a major problem. May be, LTTE is a reaction force to atrocities by SL army. The best solution is a separate Tamil state similar to Indian states. LTTE never going to bring peace to Tamils.
