SIkhs from our community went around with their swords and slaughgtered Muslims in Amritsar like pigs. Muslims were killing Sikhs and Hindus with same energy and zeal. It was revenge on revenge' on mass scale.
My ancenstors who came from Lyallpur paid a heavy price during the partition. My dad kissed India's earth when he crossed over.
Then we grew up in Delhi, and when I was young I saw the a mob (note I didn't call them Hindu) slaughtered and burnt down a Gurdwara in front of our house. How we escaped is not important here. There were Hindu families who offered us shelter, which I will never forget.
Then there were muslims who were equally slaughtered by some mobs who were taking order from the policticians. The mobs who killed members of my community or those of the muslims were not Hindus, they were criminals, plain and simple.
My point is that I have seen and felt and heard the distant screams at night during riots. But still my faith in my country persists. Because we as Indians are decent, our Indianness transcends religion, it connects us more at more deeper level.
Yes jihad is blind. Yes muslims have a large share of responsibility to control these jihadists. They must not treat non-muslims as kafirs.
But at the same token, we as Indians must also try to rectify the pain that all have committed on each other.
My ancestors left the Muslim ummah in Pakistan back in August of 47, we know we will be treated like animals there, but my family and myself think that India is better than them, it can be molded to respect all Indians regardless of their faith.

Lies and lies again , by the Hindu Nazis , no facts that could be verfied , just hallucinations of a Perveted mind ready to kill needing an excuse and coming up with stories of brutality perpetuated allegedly some 1000 years ago that too a LIE
