I think if you read the headlines of the Iraq in the days of Saddam Hussein you will realize that the US is the reason for the present day anarchy in Iraq. No one likes occupation especially forced occupation. You and I should know it... we were under occupation too and not all of our protests were non-violent.

Shias are Muslims too, and they are fighting the Americans.
