OK lets forget the past. But why am I paying Jaziya today?
by V H on Feb 18, 2007 03:18 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

I hear muslims on this message board saying lets forget the past and get along well now. Then why am I paying Tax Jaziya today? Why are we paying their religious journey to Mecca every year? Muslim argument is to quote from Quran and say their religion does not say this and that. Why can't some common sense be used to analyze critically?

The Haj itself would be void. if muslims go around begging for the Subsidy.

I fully support it being eradicated.

If you dont have the money dont go.

hindus have wrong idea about the haj subsidy, muslims dont get cash to go to hajj. the air india airlines gets discount from the govt. in anycase, the the discount is about 10,000 rupees and the air india overcharges , if there was no discount, there would be no one travelling on air india, cause emirates are lot cheaper. so the whole thing about hajj subsidy is a myth. go to indianmuslims.info for more inf.
