Mughal Era was indeed a doom
by A V on Feb 17, 2007 06:55 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The Mughals were indeed sad and horrible people. Not only Aurangazeb, but even someone like Tipu Sultan who people think was a good leader was a crook.
He drove away non-Muslims from his regions and most of the well educated Brahmins of that time had to flee as they refused to convert.
They tried to wipe of Hinduism from the South and Southern India has risen back and Hinduism in the region could never be brought down.
Watch this beautiful documentary, it is about Southern Indian temples and the King Rajaraja Chola who spread Hinduism around India and the East. Absolutely Fantastic:

And if not for Mughal stupidity, the British would not have been able to enter India, the way it did!!!!
