Francois Gautier's knowledge of india does not surprise me coz he's an outsider and no matter how long u live in a different country, u cannot know its soul....and its soul is Harmony...its soul is brotherhood.....its soul is living together...and iam not a psuedo secularist or a tree hugging liberal....but at the same time one cannot see in the rear view mirror and expect to move forward....yes it does helo us to look into the sideview mirrors though. I am seeing a pattern of Anti-muslim articles here in rediff for the past 6-7 yrs since i started seeing this site and i never miss this site....same with fox news in US....these two media outlets have been my regulars....but till now they have failed to convince me but still i visit them just for the feeling that sometimes it feels happy to love to hate these people....but hey...lets forget the history and move forward........shall we ?

Anything that is truth of the history antagonises people of some belief. Why do you want to take the discussion as being anit-xxx. Dont run away from truth and encourage wrong history. All that this article is saying is that Aurangzeb was most intolerent among all the moghul rulers. That was single most reason why mullahs supported him to the throne after more tolerent ruler like Akbar. They infact feared existence of muslim.
