I would like to know one simple thing, if you have portrayed Aurangzeb as a cruel emperror how did he rule india for 48 years. Anyone of you can go and check history no dictator could rule a country for 48 years if he was cruel to his people..... Whoever wrote this article delibrately wanted to mislead people with wrong information..

ya thats the most ironic thing.. he was let to rule for 48 yrs and so he had plenty of time to destroy india..

ure right...he was not cruel to his people(mongols, turks, persians and the gr8 arabs) he encouraged them. it was only the natives who were at the receiving end.

From your perspective its forceful conversion to Islam while for we converts it was forceful expulsion from Hinduism. Remember Baba Amberdkar??? This is not just for you but for all those blaming use of SWORD for converting to Islam -Dont blame others see within- Qing dynasty in china ruled around the same time of aurangzeb. They did their best to wipeout muslims but there are still 20-100 millions muslims in china. Coersion is the least of the reason why people change their religion.

Bharath Sir, Kindly clarify your doubts on invasion by Ghori and Ghazni and comparing that with Mughals as former two came specifically to plunder the wealth of our nation whereas Mughals came here with an expansion plans. Also read the statements of early Britishers who got carried away by the wealth of India and planned to settle here and if it would have been looted and plundered by Mughals, the scene would have been different. Aliya deep down im sure you really wish that Islam ultimately becoms the only religion in this world, even if its by force, you muslims forever justify your actions as reactions to something atrocious, being an indian, you guys will raise anti-Israel protests, anti-america protests, Why?? Just because of wars being fought in palestine and Iraq/Afghanistan, although these wars dont affect India, you guys stil go out of your way and condemn/criticise it heavily just cos an Islamic country is at the receiving end, when did you people ever stand up against terrorism in Kashmir, or the ISI backed Pakistan, why didnt you stand up against the Bali bombings, just cos the bombers(terrorsists) were Islamic...Seriously you guys should go and hang yourselves cos you'll dont have a conscience, you guys have been brainwashed by your religion, I think the Pope was damn rite when he said Islam is run by the sword...I really pray for a civilisation thats free of Islam, furthermore if Islam was to have its own countries and the non-Islamic world was seperate from them what a peaceful world we would be living in. Invariably if you look at the wars being fought in the world at present, one party has to be Islamic, have you ever thought why?? You guys are the root cause of all the problems in the world and then you blame Israel/America...Shame on you!!

If ISLAM was spread by SWORD, which muslim army or king converted non-muslims ''at the point of SWORD'' in china, malaysia, indonesia.
