We can also find many many hindu rulers who were cruel, intolerant towards their subjects who were mostly hindus. Fortunately or unfortunately, during the period of hindu rule, there were no muslims in India to know how the hindu rulers would have dealth with the muslim subjects. And during the advent of muslim rule in India. The hindus had various experience (good or bad ) about the muslim rulers.
