" Shirk (Idol worship) is worse than MURDER " scares me. Perhaps this is the kind of psyche Aurangzeb/ Bin Laden must have. What scares me more is "Why don't all Indians realise that monotheism is the need of the hour "? What gives you right to decide need of the hour for 1 billion Indians? Such mentalities create Hitler to massacre Jews, Aurangzeb to massacre Hindus and Bin Laden to massacre Christians. We need to get rid of this mentality. Makes me question about monotheism too as this concept has made the mankind so intolerant that some of them have started believing "" Shirk (Idol worship) is worse than MURDER " .

Mr. Alok Kumar, at the end of the day, all religions are like Fairy tales. Does God actually care if we follow monotheism or not? He could have created robots instead of humans then. Nothing wrong in worshipping many Gods, its a personal choice. Any religion that is dogmatic and presents itself as the sole truth will disrupt peace in society, as it would not be able to entertain a different point of view.

Well said, Vedanta in Hinduism is for everyone and there is no religion in it. Infact Hinduism has different schools of thought and Even the Gita says what you have mentioned. There is no dogma in Hinduism. No where in Hinduism you see "Thou shall not ...."
