Do and then Preach about Equality

Rafi Doctor

Have you heard about Mohajirs. Do you know their situation in Pakistan.

Rafi your Quran has killed your senses and intelligence. See the Flight of Mohajirs -

In order to crush this revolutionary group in Urban areas of Sindh, an operation was launched by Pakistan Army in June 19, 1992. Altaf Hussain, the founder of MQM, was urged by followers to leave the country and relocate in London 6 months prior to the operation. Chaos, mugging, murder, rape and terror reigned on the streets of karachi after the military operation. Muhajirs were victimised by the government. Letters were carved on the backs of MQM members.

On November 1994, army was withdrawn from law enforcement duties in Sindh, to be replaced with paramilitary Rangers and specially trained police. To remove any revolutionary elements from the party, Government of Pakistan adopted a policy of extra-judicial killing, instead of prosecution. Between 1995 and 1996, hundreds of proclaimed offenders with active association with MQM were extra-judicially killed by Rangers and police, sometimes in cold blood. (Pakistan Chronology 1947-1997, published by Ministry of Information and Media, ISBN 969-507-000-0)

You Muslims should count yourselves lucky that you are living with the most generous and broad minded religion on this Earth. Learn somethings from Indian Christians, Indian Jews, Indian Parsis and other communities. Compared to Pakistan you are much safer if you only learn to mind your own business.

The Fact how broad minded and tolerant the Hindus are was know even to Persians or Parsis. These Parsis came to Hindu Majority India when they were being forcefully converted to Islam. Their learned leader knew one place and that is India. These Parsis were given land and they have lived peacefully and have worshipped their own god without fear.

Pakistan is hardly the model for us. That is however open to question if we were to look at our Hindutva brigadiers who want to make this country a purely Hindu Rashtra, with precisely our neighbour as a model. The Islamic terrorist is seen as anotehr model to emulate. And so, Gujarat is justified because terrorists did that to Kashmiri pandits.

Agreed, Indian Muslims are lucky to live in peace with their Hindu brethren. But that calm is fragile, vulnerable to riots as we have seen time and again. Communal amity, a key requirement for progress, is definitely a contribution of the liberal Muslims and Hindus, who constitute the majority. Radicals have no right to claim that credit from a moral high ground.

Yeah you liberal Muslims come in a minority the moment Islamists become Taliban. That's the time for you to show your true colours(change the colour), its happened in Kashmir in modern India.

India was enough properous before the advent of Islamists and it can and will prosper with / without contribution of Muslims.

The amity you talk about has been disturbed by your other halfs. Hindus donated the land to muslims to go and live peacefully but the Islamists inherited greed never fulfills. The recent example of how the Indian POWS in Kargil were treated by Islamists. Don't forget the Indian story of how they buried the same Dead Islamists when their government refused to even own them.

Don't you liberal Muslims think that you have reform your community rather than trying to reform the Hindus. Some of you become liberals only when you are in a minority.

You show as a liberal how easily u ignore the existence of pakistan ( as if you don't know when and why pakistan was created) for your convenience. Aren't you the liberals who show support to islamist forces like Taliban the moment they are in power
