This selfish mentality of Indian people surfaced early when Taliban hijacked our flight to Kandahar. I remember all those families were mounting pressure upon govt. to release their family at any cost. Only a small girl said " I want my papa to be released, but it should not be at the cost of releasing terrorists" India will have a future only if such individuals increase. Unfortunately India is now infested by peoples ( read the message board ) like those who are foulmouthed who speak ill about other states and fellow indians.

he just wanted to make u realise the importance of unity at this time.. do u feel everything discussed is relevant to the Cauvery dispute.. they just show the anger and hatred on the fello indians just bcoz they b'long to othere state.. do u support them?

exactly, unless U unite and solve the crisis country will get shattered into pieces. Small sparks will create great fires which you will be find almost impossible to control in future. Before showing anger and hatred to your fellow Indians, think of those who lied down thier lives your your today. And this is your today !!!

A N I was speaking about the mentality of Indians. I am not here to spew venom about state diferences. Regional differences and strong issues first develop in your mind. You dont have that eye to get into root cause. Message is within the context and so relevant.

DG, My comment was specific to the example given in ur post. That was irrelevant. The families and dear ones always would pressure on theie goverments irrespective of the nationality. However, I do agree on ur observations on the people who have been spewing venom on regional and linguistic diferences.
