Our people in karnataka when they learn the lesson god knows. The cavuery issue was to be solved by pen is using sword now or solving by ink now using blood, these is story. What was our politicians, govt machines and this tribunal lawers were doing when team from CWC came for karnataka to cauvery basin region for investigation in S.M.Krishna ministry. The answer is everyone was hided.
Whereas the same team visited Tamilnadu all their officials, their irrigation minister, local politicians and thousands of locals gathered to meet them, they begged, showed the unity of thier state, reality, necissity of water. The localites expressed we are ready to give up our life but not water they said. At that time Jayalalitha was their state CM.
Our people expresed nothing infront of CWC team about the necissity of water at that time. But now waging a war of words with oursevls. This shows that how our karnataka people are courage, wiseness....so on. Karnataka people are never learn the lesson, nor they never teach lesson its a mysterious. Nobody will come save us, we have save us.

It is one of a few objective self assessments to have come from karnataka on this issue in this message board.we are now reaping the benefits of these short sighted regional paties in TN.In the hindsight, it looks we could have done better with other ideologies.
It is unfortunate to see politicians in Karnataka trying to whip up chauvunistic feelings on this issue. I hope they do not fall prey to these machinations.
