mr. shailesh please don't comment like this with a small amount of knowledge about HAL. if ur really interested then come to HAL and see the management and the scientists and the engineers

Mr Sameer,
I do agree with Shaliesh, Its fair to motivate the HAL and other R&D organisations. But Its our hard earned money which we part every month as the tax goes into such things!! If you are a tax payer , then you would know about that. Have any one of you had a chance to look at the programe on Discovery Channel about these pvt R&D organisations in US which builds the fighter jets for US airforce.In the way of competition they come up with better technology. India inspite of these huge spendings in such org we are still to borrow or buy these jets from the advanced country. To prove this just look at the news with header "IAF to acquire 40 Sukhoi jets from Russia" in rediff only. There is no healthy competition nor any proper R&D work is been done. Its all a eye-wash.

HAL is sensitive organization, So, please be careful in handling w/ anything regarding HAL.

I agree with you apart from SURYAKIRAN which is good for nothing ..they have not came up with a single Plane .. Choppers ..Cheetah and chetak which are nothing but simple choppers .. they have not made any progress .. Now a days they started making parts on contracts for other countries like Israiel... They were suppose to Deliver Teja - Fighter Plane ..Not sure what happened to that ... Most of the India Scientist R&D people has gave up ..they are in favour of buying the technolgy from outside..rather then coutinue working and Delivering ... Trishul Failure was example of it.... China did one of the toughest test last month ... I india did not came up with anyhting positive rather then complaning ...china did the test ..When India will do tht

China can build a factory in any where in China it wants, no matter what ever happens, that also you need to remember. Here in India, even for drought land, there are lot of hunger strikes. If that is the case, please don't give chinese example here.
