india shares water with 1) china 2) Pakistan 3) Nepal 4)Bangladesh
and Kanndigas cannot even understand the verdict.Karnataka needs to release less water now. and seeing the comments posted here, it shows how ignorant people are. Experts have worked onthis solution for years. we should not be judgemental and emotional. what if Tamilnadu stops sharing power to Karnataka?

I stand with you, Kannan. Really it is a pain to learn that so called "EDUCATED" are behaving like this. The officials who have inspected are not stupids or biased towards Tamil Nadu. Also, I dont think Karnataka is anyways going to release as much water as in the verdict (Remember in the past 15 years ever since the first verdict came during 1992, Karnataka has never ever respected the verdict and released that much water).

Hi..I prefer u ppl know the facts well before commenting on anything. First of all, this verdict doesn't take care of ground water which is more in TN than in Karnataka... & also generalising based on a few cases is not gud... Wrt sharing power, I'hve never heard TN sharing power to Karnataka(may be I'm wrong)...Even I can also say that it's politically motivated sinc there r more no. of TN representatives in Centre.(& it's been since 1990's)

Dude, Lets say Karanataka argues cauvery belongs to them & they are not sharing with TN. Same case TN tells there are lots of power cuts in TN villages so they are not sharing with them, Mumbai says we will import/export only Mumbai products or marathi products... Where the hell will all go.... When you are in a country you need to share... yeah of course KN is paying for the power... but to generate power u need peoples effort & natural resources... tht doesn't apply to water.... Regarding ground water.... do u think the people who surveyed didn't have that in mind???? Man... u can use the ground water for an year or two afterwards there will be no water even to drink.... Take Care, nsuresh_rasr

What if Tamil Nadu stops 'sharing' power? eh..
Fact of the matter is TN is NOT 'sharing' power. Ktaka is paying for it. TN is making money out of it. Is this the only/best argument you guys have?
