I wonder
by Kaushik Das on Feb 08, 2007 10:10 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

I wonder what these protestors would say if China blocks the mouth of the Brahmaputra and the Ganges. Natural resources should be shared. Karnataka is clearly at fault here by holding the natural flow of the river. Anyway, Krnataka prides itself on technology and enterpreneurism. Why doesn't it create systems that would use a part of the sea water on its west coast?

China blocking the mouth of Brahmaputra and Ganga? Well, China will certainly do that if they needed that water. Even now, I am sure as hell that China is using every bit of what they want and then only the rest is flowing into India, Bangladesh etc.,. Wonder what China will say if we ask them to stop using those waters. And the reason those waters flow into india is because you cant grow paddy and sugarcane in the Himalayas!!

If you want to use analogies, use sensible analogies. Why are you hell bent on making a fool of yourself.
