I see lot of Kannadigas posting messages threatening that there will be big backlash against in Tamils. It would be a shame if that happens. If that does happen and if there is widespread violence against Tamilians, it will definitely be something watched by international community. Bangalore's fame will definitely take a beating. Bangalore's real ugly face will come in to light.

true, bangalore has already borne the brunt of stupidity by all parties concerned in the inability to contain riots in the past few years - when it is a prerogative for the state capital to be up and running 24/7*365.
the flipside of this is that you also have to realise that all these riots have been sponsored by certain elements, political rivalry inducing riots, and trouble makers in the form of external elements and local rowdies. so the next time there's a riot, i wouldnt buy a news heading that says "bangalore burns due to cauvery". for example, although i saw Paris burn due to riots soemtime back, it would be naive for me to assume that there's a single cause behind it and i can nail it.
the statement that "Bangalore's real ugly face will come in to light." is simply not true. there's no "REAL" ugly face there.

Well said. And lot of credit to be given to the CM who has learnt his lessons from recent riots by antisocial elements to tarnish name of his govt. As a precaution already over 700 rowdy sheeters have been put behind the bars.
