Truth about Janapith award....

The Jnanpith Award is the literary honour. It is presented by the Jnanpith Trust, which is largely owned by the publishers of The Times of India.

Times of India, is pro Karnataka news papers this is the well known fact all over India, thats why they gave more Janpit Award to Kannada(7 times) than any other languages.

Its an award given by Kannadiga group, so there is nothing to proud about getting more Janapith award for Kannadigas and that is not the only thing which will bring the Kannada to Classical Tag.

Kannada is just 1000 years old, it has to sustain 1000 more years for getting this classical tag. Because as per international norm, a language which exists more than 2000 years only will qualify for classical tag.

When it come to India for the Indians it became Indian News paper and when pro pro-kanndigas started dominating it, it become pro-kannadiga news papers.
