Dear Friends,

I am tamilian, I live in Karnatka, I love Karnatka I speak KANNADA more then any other language, people here are very nice and good, they give respect and others also should respect them. KARNATAKA is the only on land it is GOLDEN LAND AND SANDAL LAND, now most of the other state people are migrating here, they should learn kannada and respect the local language, but when I see the people staying here for many years even they know Kannada but they don't speak kannada, it is not correct, whereever we are we should respct local lanugage and local people. tomarrow if anything happens only our neighbours will help other state people will not come to help us.

Dear kishore,
Really u r a good human being rather that indian, tamilian or kannadidga, you are absolutely correct, we should love and respect the place where we stay, rather than commenting and creating communal tension, i want to say that if any of them not interested they would go back to their places and nobody stops, and but staying here and commenting the place and the people not correct

Whomever they in this nation has his own wish on speaking a langauge. Being a konkani one can speak marathi or being a telugu on can speak tamil or vice versa. Its individuals right! Nothing is must in this. In the globalized era, all this are baseless and crap thoughts. But no one should create any disrespect, be it to a city or province or to a nation.

hmmm... how many? can you give me numbers? or will you also make that statement that the drains were clogged with bodies of tamilians all over the state?
15 [and according to another report 20] died in that 1991 riot. majority of them due to police firing and not because they were butchered by Kannadigas. facts are hard to accept, creating your kind of fiction is easy. you keep repeating the same old stuff again and again and you think that is the truth. I wish you all the best and hope you get well soon. Wish I could have sent you flowers a la Munna Bhai, but I dont know your address

A good one and I share your opinion! A tamilian by linguistic and born a Kannadiga, I am a fifth generation Tamilian settled in Bangalore.

There is no place in India like Bangalore, and there are no people in the entire world who are of course as humble, sincere, helping and supporting in nature as a Kannadiga.

Infact I miss the greenery in my city, All I look forward is I want my city back to its normalcy

an unbiased view. i appreciate that you decided to go by facts. i am also an outsider, settled in banalore since 1974. this place has taken people along with development. that has to be appreciated.
what went wrong with tamilnadu is its politicians tried to outwit each other for votes. also the government of TN suppressed the actual facts, fearing that verdict will go in favour of karnataka.
Inspite of an adverse verdict Karnataka gained with a strong evidence to contest the verdict in supreme court.
