Murder by policemen under the guise of "encounters" is going on in every state of the Union. This is not a pecualiarity for Kashmir and I cannot see why Ghulam Nabi Azad making a big hue and cry about it. He should visit Mumbai first and start a campaign against encounter killings. What is happening in Kashmir is nothing compared to the large scale encounters in states like Maharashtra, Bihar etc.

dear nair, dont confuse situation in mumbai to that exist in j&K. In mumbai encounter killing targets only known criminals with underworld nexus wheras in J&K innocent civiians are killed under the guise of militants. This is deplorable !
