Politicians only wants to gain a mileage pl understand details of verdict before becoming violent on media publications. Total water generated by cauvery in karnataka on average rain fall - 462 TMC. In this karnataka share - 270 TMC - 58.44% TN share - 182 TMC - 39.45% To sea - 10 TMC - 2.1% Total water generated by cauvery in Tamilnadu.on average rain fall - 270TMC TN share - 237 TMC -87.1% Kerala - 30 TMC -11.1% Pondicherry - 7 TMC - 1.2% Sea - 3 TMC - 0.6%
Please understand and dont go by big figures of TN(as the more water to it is got from its own catchment).
Here a balance is drawn to utilise water more resourcefully for agriculture. we as Indians should not get instigated by happiness of TN chief minister or sorrow Karnataka CM, we should think on linking all national rivers to solve water problem for every citizen n country. Just imagine Brahmaputra - 3500 TMC only flows to Bay of bengal. Similarly Ganga - Yamuna- Mahanadi- Indus- flows rapidly in north never dry. Sutlez- borders India but can be utilised better.
WE HAVE ENOUGH RESOURCES BUT NOT UTILIZED BECAUSE OF POOR VISION OF ALL EARLIER HEAD OF STATES , WHOOSE FOCUS IS PIGGY POLITICS TO WIN NEXT ELECTION.

Good idea. But you know what, karnataka is the first state which opposes the linking of rivers. And they call themselves as Indians. Shame on them,
