this is really a bad decision by the Justice & not at all a fair play. Decision given by the court not only creates tension with both the states & also with people of the both states. Sentence could have been given in favour of two states. This is again a beginning of clash, between governments of both the states in terms of court & people...

when SC passed a verdict to allow 205tmc of water to TN every year, karnataka failed to uphold the verdict of SC. Even that quantum was very less than that of now. Had they allowed that much of water the matter would have not gone to this much even. So certainly the verdict is fair. ONE THING TO SAY THAT U ALL WANT TO SHARE EQUALLY IN THE BASIS OF PERCENTAGE BUT CWT HAD GONE THROUGH THE USAGE OF BOTH STATES WATER IN RESPECT OF FERTILIZER, DAY TO DAY USAGE OF BOTH STATES. WHEN COMPARED TO KARNATAKA TN HAS NEARLY DOULBE THE TIMES OF LANDS TO BE CULTIVATED EVERY YEAR. SO QUESTION OF PERCENTAGE DOES NOT ARISE HERE.
