Everything is politicized, Jai Karnataka.....
Center has gone blind,as there is no Congress government in Karnataka but a supporting party in TN; then why put people into Hardship like this. We can actually give once we are selfsufficient. When we ourselves dont have water how does three people sitting somewhere in Delhi ask to give water. SHAME ON OUR INDIAN GOVERNMENT..... AND INDIAN JUSTICE

Well...rivers are owned by the state. They are national resources. You can't claim ownership over a river just because it originates there...TN delta region is 90% dependent on Cauvery water alone. Whether it is Karnataka or TN or Kerala/Pondy we are talking about life of farmers. If that is the case, the water sharing should happen on a percentage basis based on proportionate needs. Whatever may be the water that is their in the river should be shared by the same ratio so that loss or gain is also shared across the states. At least something is better than nothing....i know of cases where the farmers were reduced to eating field rats for food as there is no water in cauvery!!

The people who are writting here should mind onething....The supreme court issue the judgement based on the rationality. Don't write rubbish here saying that kannadians are cheated and Tamilian's are awarded either. As a common man we are not sure of the whole history behind this battle...eventually we need follow and implement the supreme court order.
