This is not a fair decision. Why punish Karnataka if the Tamil Govt. Cannot provide for the basic needs of its own people? 20 Years they could not make arrangements for their own water problem.

why karnataka not taking any alternative steps to make new sources for water? cauvery for the past 2000years belong to Tamil nation..no compramise on that.. the present verdict once again made justice..our brothers in karnataka should think about Tamil nadu farmers also.. we are all in india.. but Geographically front side of cauvery river state not giving to back side means..what is the meaning of integrity??

Everyone knows that TN has a rich ground water in the Kaveri Delta Region and they are not entirely dependent on Kaveri water. Also they grow 3 crops per year where as farmers in Karnataka are struggling to bring up 2 crops due to lack of water. Those who argue abt high productivity in TN, pls understand that the purpose of irrigation is to ensure that everyone gets their share of water..
Mr. Jaikumar, u said we are all in India, so why this injustice to Karnataka? Are they not Indians??
