Around 15 years back, when Mumbai was captured by the Sena, the non-Maharshtrians nearly panicked. There seem to be an open contempt for non-marathi speaking population. However over the years, Mumbai's capture by Sena has only helped India as a whole. How? Other states were forced to develop. Many other cities overtook Mumbai in terms of overall development. From the only top city in India, Mumbai became one of the many cities in India. Earlier people came from other cities to Mumbai for work, studies etc. Now I hear people going from Mumbai to other cities for studies/work etc.
