'Morality has disappeared from India'
by S Rajendran on Feb 03, 2007 06:57 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The canker of corruption has affected both the judiciary and the Armed Services and the sad thing is that nothing is being done about it. Army officers are increasingly on the take as much as judges in the judiciary and one hears the names of Supreme Court judges 'on sale' being bandied about. If this spreads, then the Republic of India is in deep trouble. Tragically, the current Government at the Centre has an Italian woman has the head of the main party leading the Coalition and even she as well as her secretary, V George are both reported to be on the take. It is not enough to say that one is not corrupt but it is more important to be seen as not corrupt. S Rajendran
