First of all Congratulations to Shiv Sena on winning the elections which had the record maximum turnout for the BMC elections. I used to be a supporter of Shiv Sena when I was a kid. A few tips for them and a few facts about them - Shiv Sena is the party which has really brought about women empowerment. There is no other party which has women so actively participating in the elections. Shiv Sena always had women candidates even before reservation. - Though Shiv Sena claims to be a Hindu party, it actually is not a Hindu party. It is rather a party supporting local people, and it should get it right. There are so many Muslims supporting Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena never had any bias against Muslims internally or while helping them at the lowest levels. But what they advertise is otherwise - they should stop doing that. - Shiv Sena has the best network of Shakas and Upa-Shakas. This network helps them to reach out people better. I have seen the upa-shakas helping many people irrespective of religion, caste or gender or even origin. There were instances where North Indians would go to the shakas for help and would be offered it. - Shiv Sena is progressive - why does every one forget the infrastructure revolution - why does every one forget the Slum rehab project. Though these projects are plagued by corruption, they were implemented atleast, or even attempted atleast. Why is no one noticing that? No other party had attempted or thought about this feat. Where would Mumbai have been without these flyovers? If the SRA was not started, where would we get the land from? No one is noticing that it was started. - When people are talking of BMC being inefficient, do they realise wnder what pressures does the BMC operates? The babus in BMC have been with the same attitude for past so many years, even before Shiv Sena cam into power. So why balme just the Shiv Sena for the babus? Having said that I do agree that the corporation needs more agility and Shiv Sena should try to correct that.
I hope that now Shiv Sena has come in power, it should do some good work to show to the people what it really is and stop the stupid Hinduism and get back to development of the state and help for local people (Maharashtrians - irrespective of their caste or religion). Only a local party is capable of upliftment of the locals.
This win is just Bal Thakerays win.
About Raj Thakeray, I think he should have been with Shiv Sena and the party is responsible for sidelining him.

A clarification - I dont say that anyone should oppose non-Maharashtrians, but there should be preferential treatment for locals.
Also I would like Sam to tell me the instance of the daughter in law of Thakeray. Not that i am opposing you Sam, but it is unfortunate that i can not recollect. Is it about Rashmi Thakeray, Sharmila Thakeray or Smitha Thakeray?
