Sir,why do you come?
by Sreenath Upadhyaya on Feb 01, 2007 01:59 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The Prez visit threw the Hyderabadi traffic out of control and I sincerely request the President to Heli-hop the city instead of using the roads. The Police literally have sealed the roads for the past one hour of your visit and after you leave,it will take another one hour to get into normalcy.I was one of the citizens affected by your visit and sincerely request you to heli-hop,wherever you want and even ,the Hyderabadi Police also will be relieved of your visit.
Please ,please dont use the roads and get us into trouble!

dear upadhyaya, it apppears that you do not believe in a system that is well in place. Your comments appear to be pessimistic with a worm's eye view. will it be right to say that if people like us hadn't come, this nation would have been relieved of the population menace.

Hey Mr.Anilkumar,Come on,don't use big philanthropic words here,Mr.Sreenath has rightly said about the traffic jam caused due to the visit of the President.Evening, the President is expected to cross from Madhapur (HITECH CITY) to Airport and i am sure, thousands of IT guys would be affected due to this,Why can't he fly from Madhapur to Airport? You have not experienced the traffic problems of Hyderabad and hence, you will not realize !Come to Hyderabad, then we will show you the day to day problems,DONT BARK

Thanks. Difference in opinion is due to ideological differences, which is always welcomed. Let us not abuse the valuable space in this fuorum to abuse each other rather than suggesting suitable solutions. As regards traffic problems due to frequent VIP movements, we, the Delhiites are perhaps the most effected people i.e. almost every now and then. But we can't stop the system from functioning. The focus should be on improving the system by ensuring safety, security and free movement of traffic.
