I differ from the author. The priority should be as follows: 1. Let not the army and ISI dictate terms directly and indirectly to the elected government. Let them follow Indian Model in this.
2. Democratic free and fair election
3. Let them declare emergency only in troubled province. Like what we did in Punjab during 80's and bring down the terrorist activities.
4. Work towards future economic and industrial progress.

What you are saying is perfectly OK. But it is not possible in any muslim majority country. It is all theory. Are you taliking of a hindu majority country like India or Paikstan

Where does Pakistan go from here? Why do you worry. Let it go to dogs. They hate Indians. In fact they are responsible for each bomb blast in India and killing of hundreds of people in our country. Rediff should not waste their columns by writing such articles.

india should be concerned about pakistans way, bcoz pak is our neighbouring country and rival of ours and they have nuclear power with them. so if this nuclear power is handled by terrorist groups then it will effect india also.
