This thing is totally stupid to LABEL SIKHS as MILITANTS. TAKE INTO ACCOUNT WHAT SRI GURU TEG BAHADUR DID FOR INDIAN RELIGION. Check the records, those were the SIKHS who contributed the most in the freedom struggle of india.SIKHS were 1 percent of the total population at that time and the total contribution was over 90 percent. SIKHS from punjab fed india during first GREEN REVOLUTION.AND ARE CONTRIBUTING MAXIMUM TILL NOW IN THE NATIONAL STOCKS.
IT`S REALLY SORRY FOR THE COMMUNITY WHO DID MOST FOR THE INDIA AND ARE LABELLED AS MILITANTS BY THE INDIAN GOVERNMENT AND NATIONAL INDIAN MEDIA.
NODBODY ADD WORD "TERRORIST" TO THE PEOPLE WHO DID 1984 RIOTS AND GUJARAT 2002.
OUR MEDIA AND GOVERNMENT IS NOT ALWAYS BALANCED IT`S ALWAYS AGAINST PUNJAB,PUNJABIS AND SIKHS IN PARTICULAR.
IF YOU SAY SIKHS AS MILITANTS THEN ALSO LABEL PEOPLE OF ANOTHER COMMUNITY AS "TERRORIST" WHO DID DELHI 1984 AND GUJARAT 2002.

nobody called the sikh gurus as terrorists they are given the highest regard as among the greatest sons of india. nothing wrong in calling those who kill inocent people in the name of religion as terrorist, which they are.

Sikh separatism started with Bhindranwale (thank Congress-I for that) and then it became a terrorist movement oversees after 1984 riots. Again thanks to Congress-I and Rajiv Gandhi and some politically minded-screwed up Shiks in Canada who hobnobbed with Pakistan's ISI.
We, the rest in India were foolish to fight Sikhs rather than win them over by love in 1983-84. We got emotionally carried away by Bhindranwale's slogans and expressions of happiness by Sikhs when Indira Gandhi was killed. As some one said Sikhs have doen 90% of the weightlifting- fighting, protecting us and our women from Muslim arsonists and rapists since Mughals came and then during partition. Face it, we (majority of Indians) are not the fighting types. Sikhs have been defending the Indian subcontinent in addition to a few other types like Marathas and Rajputs. We owe a lot to the Sikhs.

See I am a INDIAN and have respect for SIKH community, but for not those SIKHs who are anti-INDIA and worked previously or have started working recently (if true) againts INDIAN interests.

Sikhs shouldnt talk like this and blame others for anti-sikh riots such as happened in delhi 1984.India already bled enough because of sikh terrorism during 1980s.India will not tolerate these things any more..

Oh shut up, just don't tell the one sided story, less than 2% of whole Indian population and the current PM is sikh, calling spade a spade is not wrong. There are black sheeps in each and every community, that includes hindus, sikhs, christians etc. No body is blaming the entire sikh community. Don't be ultra sensitive, Gurus are sacred for Hindus too.

1984 type of massacre would turn anybody into a terrorist. I am not a Sikh but I would certainly turn into one. It is an insult to my nationality that the perpetrators are walking scot free because they are politicians. Gujrat 2004 is another story. Islamic religious madness and their anti national activities have turned me against that religion and I now believe that agressive propagation of Hinduism is as important as economic and social agenda in order to save the country, keep Islam in check which is going to finish up India in another 10 years. Already Congress is thinking of diverting national resources to them because they have become a major vote bank. Read Shourie's OpEd in Indian express and you will be shocked by the demands made by Islamic organizations very recently in terms of blockage of funds and reservations for Muslims in every field.
